Sock Yarns > Opal
Variegated Opal Sock Yarns UKOpal yarn is produced in Germany and is a sock knitters absolute favourite. With one 100g wool ball (425m) you will end up with one very colourful pair of socks! This printed yarn knits into a fair isle or stripey pattern as you work in the round on four, 2.5mm double-pointed needles. You'll probably be as excited as us as the pattern emerges! If this is your first try then maybe the Opal Starter Kits would be the best route for you - everything to get you started in one pack - wool, needles, free sock pattern and a little extra from us at Angel Yarns. Each sock wool ball comes with a free sock pattern with our compliments. We also have a free sock knitting knitting pattern for children's socks by Soxie that can be found here. You may also like to see our Regia Yarn range or Sirdar Town and Country Sock Kits, our fabulous Lucy Neatby Hand Painted Sock Yarns, our own Hand Painted Sock Yarns or the new Lana Grossa range A whole host of patterns for Opal can be found here...
